Analysing our film

ACT 3 SCENE 5

For our english class we had to choose a scene from Romeo and Juliet and film it 

So my group choose Act 3 scene 5 because we liked that scene and we find out it will be interesting to recreate it.  

I my mini film I play the role of Lady Capulet and Nurse 

This scene is when Romeo is getting out of Juliet's bedroom and Lady Capulet enters to tell Juliet she is marrying Paris, but she refuses the decicion her parents have made and start arguing with her dad why she will not  marry Paris.
This scene was film on Sam's house.

• Sam ~ Romeo

• Alessia ~ Juliet

• Rodolfo ~ Capulet

• Arantxa ~ Lady Capulet/ Nurse

We recreate the scenein modern time by using props and costumes like 

• a basket for the nurse

• A apron 

• A robe

• A dress for Juliet and Lady Capulet 

• A balcony for Romeo to go away

• A bed for all the scene

This film took us to film like 4 hours because before we film each part of the scene we practise it and sometimes we film a part twice and the one which turn out better we put it at the end.
The editing took us like 1hour and a half because we needed to cut parts and joined them.
